The Saucony Ride 16 saw minor tweaks to the upper to make it fit more comfortably. Designers changed the lacing system, giving you a better midfoot lockdown by using an additional midfoot loop called the gilley system. They also updated the tongue, going from fully gusseted to semi gusseted and made other modifications to the upper to make it more breathable.
