Features

You’ll feel a spring in your step when you’re running the trails in the ASICS Novablast 3 TR.

Part of ASICS’ NATURE BATHING™ Collection, this trail version of the popular Novablast road shoe is inspired by the Japanese phrase, "shirin yoku," which translates to “forest bathing.” It features a trail-specific AHAR™ outsole that is more durable and functional for going off-road on gravel or light trails.

The Novablast 3 TR now features FF BLAST™ PLUS foam that creates a more energizing rebound coupled with a trampoline-inspired outsole design. ASICS also added more cushioning, while making the shoe significantly lighter with its new midsole compound. Reviewers loved the light, bouncy ride in our ASICS Novablast 3 review.

A heel stabilizer supports the foot to give you a more balanced stride, while the gusseted tongue wing fit system improves the midfoot fit and reduces any tongue sliding. Inspired by geometric origami, the upper not only looks fast, but the new engineered monofilament mesh keeps the foot cool and comfortable as your run heats up.

The ASICS Novablast 3 TR is a great everyday trainer that provides a lively, cushioned ride.

What’s New

The new gusseted tongue and more supportive heel design give you a better fit than previous versions. Plus, designers added FF BLAST PLUS foam and an additional millimeter of stack height to give you more cushion and bounce. All of these changes make it approximately 30g lighter than the ASICS Novablast 2.

Who It’s Best For

The ASICS Novablast 3 TR is a great trail shoe for runners and walkers whose daily routes take them on a variety of surfaces from road and gravel to light trails and paths.

Why You’ll Love It

You will love this version’s more stable and rugged outsole combined with its lightweight, responsive and cushioned ride that adds some pop to your trail runs.

Sustainability

At least 75% of the shoe’s main upper material is made with recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions. The sockliner is produced with the solution dying process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emission by approximately 45% compared to conventional dyeing technology.
