Features
Whether you are going for long runs or short walks, the versatile ASICS Gel-Cumulus 25 will give you a cushioned and peppy ride every step of the way.
Get ready for soft landings and snappy take-offs. ASICS’ new PureGel™ technology and FF Blast™ Plus foam give you pillow-like landings and responsive take-offs. Designers added 2 mm of cushioning underfoot to give you a plusher experience, while the PureGel pods in the rearfoot offer plenty of shock absorption during your run.
Fleet Feet runners loved the new cushioning in our ASICS Gel-Cumulus 25 review and how it added versatility to the shoe. One runner even said "for a daily trainer, they handled uptempo miles like a secret race-day shoe. I felt both light on my feet and protected."
The engineered jacquard layered mesh upper is stylish and comfortable with a gusseted tongue that wraps around your foot like a gentle hug. Plus, it’s environmentally friendly, with over 90% of the polyester materials used coming from recycled sources, making it one of the best sustainable running shoes.
Every run will feel like you are floating in the lightweight and cushioned ASICS Gel-Cumulus 25.

What’s New
Following in the footsteps of the GEL-Nimbus 25, ASICS designers did a major rehaul of the GEL-Cumulus 25. They increased the stack height by 2 mm for more cushioning underfoot while using softer, more energetic and lighter-weight FF Blast foam to replace the previous Flytefoam midsole. The shoe also has a broader platform to give you a stable ride and accommodate more foot shapes.
New PureGELâ„¢ Technology is lighter and softer than the previous versions, which creates soft and smooth transitions from heel to toe. ASICS designers also included gel only in the heel to reduce weight.
A new upper fits your foot better and is better for the environment. More than 90 percent of the upper’s polyester materials are recycled.
They also decreased the amount of rubber on the outsole and got rid of the flex grooves. All of these changes make the shoe significantly lighter than its predecessor.

Feels like Hoka
This model and year shoe feels similar to the Hoka Bondi. It has so much cushion and shock resistance. I hope the style will be the same next year.
Love!
Love them! They are super comfortable and light weight. I had stopped wearing ASICS because the shoe always came up to high and rubbed my ankle bone thankfully they have corrected this.
Best shoe ever
As a nurse I'm on my feet a lot. ASICS gel shoes are wonderful. Light comfortable and.best of all no foot pain.
Comfy and bouncy
I love these sneakers! I have a narrow heel and need a wide toe box due to bunions. These are the perfect fit and have so much soft cushion for running. These were a good switch from Hokka given the shape of my feet.
Comfortable sneakers
The shoes are very comfortable and supportive especially since I have lymphadema in both my legs
Women’s ASICS Gel Cumulus 25
Very comfortable and like walking on a cloud. Also very supportive by the heel and tongue of shoe.
Great shoe!
Very comfortable shoe with great support. Lightweight responsive to all movement. Great colors to choose from.
Too different from previous model
I initially bought these online sight unseen due being a loyal cumulus user for the past few years. However the shape and response of the shoe and mechanics of running in these are completely different from previous models. It forced me into pronation and heel striking each step on my runs which always resulted in post-run knee pain which I never had before. I naturally do well as a neutral without any extra pronation or supination and am also a midfoot striker so these just wrecked me. The cushion also felt like running in sand to me and slowed me down. After a few months of trying to make it work I finally got up and went in store to find something different that did work for me.However these are good to keep as a work (or even concert/festival) shoe for hours of standing and work well for that due to the cushioning. I'll just never run in them again.
