Features

The ASICS GT-2000 v12 GTX is built to make every run smooth and stable while keeping your feet dry.

Don’t let rain or snow prevent you from running, this shoe’s Gore-Tex® upper will keep your feet dry when precipitation hits. There are also reflective details to help keep you visible to drivers in the dark.

This stability shoe is lightweight and smooth, so you will hardly notice that it is underfoot. ASICS updated the cushioning to make it softer and give you a more energizing toe-off. The stability construction makes this an ideal choice for those with flexible arches or who overpronate. Plus, with its sleek new style, the GT-2000 v12 GTX looks as good going out as it feels underfoot.

Features

  • Upper: Gore-Tex® upper keeps your feet dry when it is wet out. Reflective details help visibility in low-light conditions.
  • Midsole: FF Blast Plus™ cushioning creates a softer overall feel while producing a more energetic toe-off. ASICS PureGEL™ technology in the rearfoot helps for softer and smoother transitions.
  • Stability: ASICS’ 3D Guidance System™ includes a wider base, an increased heel bevel and an increased forefoot flare. This creates advanced stability for those who overpronate and gives you smooth transitions.
  • Outsole: The outsole has full ground contact and plenty of durability to handle the miles.

What’s New

This has been the year for major changes to ASICS shoes and the GT-2000 v12 is no exception. ASICS added FF Blast™ Plus cushioning to the v12, making it softer underfoot and giving it more energy at toe-off. Plus, designers added 1 mm of additional midsole stack height. In the heel, the new PureGEL™ technology is 65% softer than the previous gel, which provides advanced impact absorption.

ASICS updated the stability technology in their 3D Guidance System™, which includes a wider base, a full-ground contact design, and an increased heel bevel/forefoot flare to give you smooth transitions.

They also made the upper sleeker and more modern, including redesigning the heel with a lean-back Achilles construction that flares to reduce irritation against the back of the foot.

Who It’s Best For

The ASICS GT-2000 v12 GTX is great for those who need some stability and hate cold, wet feet. It works well for any pace or distance—short or long, fast or slow, the ASICS GT-2000 can do it all.

Why You’ll Love It

You will love the lightweight, stable feel of the ASICS GT-2000 v12 GTX and how it will keep your feet dry.
