HOKA Arahi 7
Features
Get ready to go farther and unlock more miles in the HOKA Arahi 7.
Not your average stability shoe, the HOKA Arahi 7 will help you roll through the miles with plenty of support and cushion. It’s smooth and stable to give you the perfect ride whether you are walking or running without a ton of weight to weigh you down.
Details:
- Upper: A new upper gives the HOKA Arahi 7 a fresh look and better fit. A breathable, flat-knit upper gives you plenty of style and support. HOKA made the tongue plusher for more comfort and gave the Arahi a dual gusset to prevent it from slipping or moving during your runs.
- Midsole: CMEVA midsole material provides comfort and cushion throughout your run, while HOKA’s signature Meta-Rocker rolls you through your run for a smooth ride.
- Stability: HOKA’s J-Frame midsole support is designed to help with overpronation or aid those with flexible arches without adding additional stiffness or weight.
- Outsole: Zonal rubber on the outsole improves durability.

Hoping for Tan Not Peach
I love Hoka Arahi 7 but was disappointed in the color! The picture looked more tan but color was peach!
New shape bad fit
These new changes fundamentally changed the shape and fit of the shoe. Cannot wear them anymore after four years of wearing this style.
Good shoes
Little bit stiff and narrow at the toe box but it doesn’t really bother me to wear all day. I like it better than Bondi 8 for sure!!!
Run… away from these shoes
I had two pair of 6s. Amazing shoes my favorite part was how soft they were while still providing stability. Was excited for the 7s. To start the shoe looks completely different and the toe box is honestly ugly in my opinion. If the shoe was still comfortable I would overlook it. However the shoe is so stiff and hard. No idea how this one passed testing. Will be returning and hoping Hoka listens to our cries. Now onto the wild goose chase to find a pair of 6s left as my old ones are shot.
Hoka Arahi 7
Fits well. Description on website on issues this shoe addresses were so helpful in deciding which Hoka style to purchase - to help with pronation issues. Lightweight as well
Not as good as the six
I have the same opinion about the 7 being stiff-- especially on the footbed. It cuts into the side of my foot and is raised higher with a ridge unlike the six.
Arahi 7 - a bust of disappointed
I have been waiting for the Arahi 7 to be released only to be so disappointment. Much narrower toe box and very stiff. Just flat out uncomfortable Please bring back the Arahi 6. I have a Arahi 6 that I have had for 3 years. It has been my go to. I have the Gaviota as well so I ama a Hoka ladyI hope I can find a 6 out there somewhere.
Mixed feelings
Couldn’t wait for the new Arabic 7 to be available. I’ve worn nothing but the Arahi since they came out and had multiple pairs of each version. I wear them to walk mostly and they have been super. I have a narrow foot and the heel has been appropriately narrow with a bit wider toe box. Cushion has varied from version to version but has been a nice balance between soft and firm. Got these shoes from Fleet Feet today and immediately took them for an indoor walk at the local rec center. Here are my first thoughts. 1) Don’t care much for color options but like the simple classic look of the shoe. 2) The shoe is much narrower in the toe box than other versions of the Arahi. I have a narrow foot and they work for me but…The toe box also seems to have less volume so I could see where some feet would feel a bit cramped. 3) The cushion is much much firmer than most Hoka’s I’ve tried. I liked the cushion on the 6 but the 7 is really quite firm. Can’t decide if I like it or not. Maybe if the temps warm up the cushion will too. Not sure what the motivation was for making these so firm. Fleet Feet’s service was great.
