These were one of the styles picked for me after my foot scan at the store. They’re perfect!! I am so pleased with the fit and feel of these. I wear them to work so 12 hours on my feet is the ultimate sneaker-test and these pass with flying colors!

I ordered the same size I usually wear but was surprised at the width of this new version of Gaviota 5. Very disappointed with the changes Hoka made this time. I will be returning this shoe.

I've been wild about Hokas but this change in styling leaves me cold. The Gaviota 5 has a wider toe box than the Gaviota 4. I'm not wild about this change

The right shoes for me. Used to have Bondi7 wide. The Gabi worked

I have always loved my Hoka Gaviota. I always wear a 9w so I ordered a 9w in the Gaviota 5. But it was way too wide. So I exchanged them for a 9B. Still too big and they have a clownish look to them. So disappointed they decided to change the design of this model of Hoka.

The shoes were size wide…..but not really!! The netting top was wide but the bottom inside wasn’t!!There was a subtle ridge where the insoles meet up with the sides of this shoe. After walking awhile the bottom edges of my feet hurt from the shoe….were red and sore. Alas I wanted them to be comfortable!!

I've worn Gaviota's for years and don't particularly like the new design. They are too wide in the front and look kind of like clown shoes.

Fleet Feet is always an awesome purchasing experience. This is my 2nd pair of Hoka running shoes and I love them. I really only bought new ones because I needed more padding due to how I walk. These have amazing arch support the sole is like clouds but super durable. And you can take the inserts out and replace them if they become worn out. Love these. Will never go back.

Love the fit and comfort of the shoe. Disappointed with the upper cover. It is a mint green color and after 2 weeks looks like an old shoe. The material is scuffed rubbed and stained.

Good foot stability and ankle support. Wide toe box in regular width. I have to usually buy a half size up and or wide width. I ordered a 9 regular width and it was plenty wide. I have had two foot surgery and these shoes help me walk normally. Like walking on clouds.

I love my Hoka shoes. My foot doctor recommended hoka shoes a few years back and they have made the world a difference.

Good cushioning and solid support. Have worn them for several runs over 6 miles and the only (minor) issue is getting a good tight fit. Had an 8 in the previous model purchased a 7.5 for the 5.

I’ve been unable to wear closed in tie shoes for years due to top-of-foot arthritis pain. My podiatrist suggested Hoka shoes and super feet insoles from Feet Fleet. I wore them while exploring the British Isles with my family recently. Never would have made it without the shoes and insoles!

I use to wear the Bondi 8 but the toe box wasn't quit wide enough and almost too much cushion for me. The last on this shoe shape H on this model is much more stabilizing for me when I walk and no squishing the outside of my forefoot. So happy with them!

Bought my normal size in a wide. Returned as they were so wide! Got regular in normal size and they are perfect. I love running in these shoes!!!

Great shoe EXCEPT that the inside heel material slides down so you feel a bunching in the middle of the heel area rather than the shoe molding comfortably to your heel and low ankle.

Very happy with these so far. I have 1 heel that I turn out and planter Faschitis and so far have not had issues with these. Also haven't had the back problems that I had while not realizing that I was wearing the wrong shoes all day while on my feet working as a pharmacy tech.

These are way better than the previous model. The toe box is roomie and it is much better for running.

Love these shoes!! So comfy and my feet feel great after working out. I have high arches and a very wide front of my feet and these are the first shoes in a normal width that done squish the balls of my feet together.

If you have problem feet that require a large toe box room for an orthotic and great stability this is the shoe for you! I love it and plan on stocking up on it. They do run a half size long in my opinion I usually get 6.5 wide and I ended up keeping the 6 wide. The extra width in the toe box is great if you have bunions or flat feet. The stability is the best I have had and they are not heavy at all. Perfect for me! I can't run but they are now my go to everyday shoe for comfort walking and stability going up and down the stairs as I recover from a foot fracture. Can even fit 2 pairs of socks to cushion my injured foot. Doesn't get better than this for me!
