I had a baby about 4 months ago and am just getting back into jogging. These shoes have been fantastic for me as I adjust to running with a weaker core and slower pace than pre-pregnancy. They cushioning and stack height make every step feel like I’m bouncing off a cloud.

I love my Women's HOKA Clifton 9 shoes. The sales person at Fleet Feet was so helpful in assisting me find the perfect shoe for me. Exceptional customer service so friendly!

So comfy and great for long and easy runs. I did not need a break in period. Wore them out the box to Barry’s and then on an outdoor run when I got back home in Minnesota. The Seattle crew was super helpful and energetic.

I had trauma to my legs about a year ago and was having a hard time finding shoes that I could wear at work and would not cause my ankles to kill me by the end of the day. I decided to give Hoka a try and I very rarely have pain anymore. My ONLY complaint is that they are extremely slippery if they are wet…..to the point that I’m afraid I’m going to slip and fall otherwise they are fantastic!!

Wonderful shoe— wow. Like floating on air . I can see why healthcare personnel use them being on their feet and walking so much . The most comfortable running / overall sport shoe I have ever worn . Not good for CrossFit though.. too cushy

Love these they are like walking on clouds. I use them for my everyday athletic shoes. The wide width so is comfortable. This is my second pair. Waiting for the HOKA Clifton 8 or 9 to have a dark blue in a wide size.

I LOVE my Clifton 8's but I didn't see them offered when I needed a new pair so I bought Clifton 9's. They are ok. I went up a half size because my toe touched the end of the shoe in the last Clifton 8's I bought. Now I have 91/2 and they feel huge but my toes don't touch. I do notice that my ankle hurts after walking a long way and they are too bulky for Zumba which is what I mostly wanted them for. I still love HOKA. I'm gonna try some other styles to see if I can get that perfect fit again!

I’ve been using these for about six months due to a bunion and misaligned joint. They made such a difference for me. I couldn’t wear any professional shoes without pain to work. I walk 3-5 miles per day in my job exercise and walk my dogs. Life was painful and starting to become restrictive. These made it possible for me to do all the activities I needed to while I waited for surgery. They lasted long and are so comfy. I got two different colors and will be buying more soon!

I purchased the Bondi 8 first and then this shoe. Let me tell you I ❤️‍🔥them both. But the Clifton is so much more lighter weight that it’s impossible to believe. Both shoes are incredibly comfortable.

These shoes are not as comfortable as I thought. I wanted to try a pair.

Shoes are great and are very comfortable. They are the best shoes I have had.

Fleet Feet is a great store !! This particular version of Clifton ( Hoka) is not. Very uncomfortable especially in heel area. Returned to local store. Excellent customer service.

Shoe is lightweight but glides easily with walking and lots of cushion support. I love the black with gold color more neutral. The only thing I don’t like is the back tongue is really raised and thick.

I made a mistake.. I did not realize I was buying a running shoes. I had an old Clifton 8 and it was very cushiony and good arch support- this is really what I wanted. The one I got was hard and not cushiony with no arch support. Too late now I discarded already the packaging.

Your store could not provide the above mentioned shoe. Canxelled the order stating it wasn't in stock. Yet sends this email to ask my opinion about the shoe. Good question.

I'm not sure what happened between the Clifton 8 and 9 but HOKA might want to reexamine their changes to this shoe. I've owned Clifton 6 through 8 (and multiple pairs of them) and absolutely loved them but the changes made to the Clifton 9 are making me rethink this model altogether. First HOKA is narrowing a WIDE shoe I wanted in a WIDE for a reason? I don't understand I would get regular width if that was the case. WIDE means WIDE. Second HOKA why do we keep making the length LONGER? Typically this style is the only running shoe I can purchase in my actual size (7.5W) but this model I had over an inch of room from my toe to the end... I had to return the first pair I received and reorder a 7W. Third the the upper and tongue areas are very built up and tighter compared to last season and it pushes into my Talus causing significant pain. Prior Cliftons had a smoother upper to tongue section that never rubbed. I can feel blisters and PT in my future from that change. The sole padding is still nice but overall I do not know what happened. I think I may have to find a different model or brand if this keeps up.

As a 20+ year vocal music teacher these shoes are a game changer. I have to be on my feet all day and move a lot of equipment and it was so nice this holiday season to do all that and my feet weren't tired at the end of the day.

What can I say except this-I have ordered 7 pairs of Hoka’s for my family for Christmas!!!We all wear them as well as friends and neighbors (who have bought them on my recommendation)!I also found my all time favorite-Clifton 8-on the Hoka website and ordered 3 more pairs. They fit beautifully are extremely comfortable and they help alleviate some pain that we experience!!!We got rid of all our other sneakers and exclusively wear Hoka’s (mostly the Clifton’s)!! The only setback that we have noticed is that they wear out quickly on the soles. I personally use to buy them twice a year but lately am purchasing every 4 months? They are not inexpensive so if Hoka can do something about the sole construction it would be great! The rest of the sneaker holds up well! It’s sad that the sneaker needs to be replaced due to the wearing out of the sole when the rest of the sneaker still looks new. Highly recommend!!!

Comfortable walking shoes for wide feet. I’m between 7.5 and 8 and these are an 8 but kind of short so perfect. Sales people are knowledgeable and helpful.

You’re asking me to review an item that I never received. My card was charged and then later I received an email stating the item wasn’t available and I would need to wait up to a week for my $$ to be returned. For these reasons my experience was not a positive one.

HOKA is the only running shoe I wear now. None of the others compare. They are sturdy comfortable and support my feet perfectly for all my daily runs and races.

These are a Christmas present for my daughter. She already has one pair that she wears to work but wanted another pair. She loves them. She is a nurse.

I bought this about 4 months ago. I took them to a vacation where we. Went to the national parks in Utah & Arizona. We did a lot of walking & hiking & they were very comfortable the whole time!

Love love LOVE these shoes!!! I have full comfort again after recovering from a torn ligament. The Fleet Feet customer service is unparalleled.

I have plantar fasciitis and after doing a lot of research found that the Clifton 9 would be the best shoe to reduce the pain and prevent further injury. The moment on put on these shoes I felt instant relief! I have never had such support as I have very high arches. The shoes are not heavy which is a plus. Highly recommend.

the shoes are nice but I don't think they are worth what they cost. i was disappointed that the soles weren't softer as that's where my problem is.

These are wonderfully comfortable shoes. I have no arch and have trouble finding comfortable shoes but these are the best fitting shoes I’ve had in a long time.

I at first thought they were too soft but put super feet in them and ran two half marathons in two weeks! They felt great! I did have to go down a half size but get the wide.

Great daily trainer or recovery shoe. Very soft and cushiony it can feel a little sloppy but if your feet are tired they can be heavenly. I always have a pair in rotation and the last few versions have felt too wide so I sized down half a size and that seemed to fix the issue.

I purchased these shoes in anticipation of a 10 day hiking tour outside the US but had a short 4 day trip to Disney World about 2 weeks after I received them so I opted to do a trial run . I had had foot surgery 2 months prior to the Disney trip and had not been able to wear my usual walking shoes. I was a bit skeptical but put the Clifton 9 on without breaking them in on day 1 of our trip. Never took them off! Most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Wide toe box great cushion and overall support. No pain no blisters no rubbing. I am sold on these shoes and will most definitely purchase again !

I’ve worn Hoka shoes for approximately 8 years and love them. The Clifton is my go to for daily use. These shoes are comfortable from day one. I appreciate Fleet Feet’s quick delivery and their easy to use website. I was lucky to find my size on sale this time…an added bonus!

Versatile shoe with good comfort. I wear this tennis shoe more than any other I have bought since it is so comfy.

Poorly made and noisey. Not much support on top and heels squished with each step. I have worn Hokas for over 5 years but I returned the Clifton 9's.

I love these shoes for running but get Bondi 8 for planters fasciitis. This is my second pair of Clifton’s and I like them better for running since the sole isn’t as padded. I purchased #1132211-BRGL. I thought that the soul of these were a gray color and that’s why I picked these shoes and to my disappointment they were actually totally white but the first picture looks grey to me. A shoe with a dark soul looks better and new for longer especially if you do a lot of outdoor runs. I really wish they would offer the better colors in the wide sizes. I haven’t worn these yet to work out so I can’t comment on if they’re as good as my last model.

Love the shoes—-perfect fit without even trying them on. Getting used to the pale blue color as I have to be reminded that there is no-one following me as I get in my steps for the day.

This is my fourth pair of Hokas and I’m really loving them . I had foot surgery and my dr recommended them. I recently ordered the Clifton 9 and I’m happier with them than the Bondi.

The Clifton is the only running shoe that does not cause blisters on my big toe. However I do not like the changes to the ankle area of the shoe. The tongue rubs the area where the top of my foot meets my leg and is very uncomfortable.

I’ve been wearing Hoka Cliftons for a long time and have loved them. So I am very disappointed with the 9s. They fit differently and have caused friction where the tongue hits the top of my foot. I am not able to wear them for runs or long walks. Back to the drawing board to find the perfect shoe!

I have the Hoka SpeedGoat for the trail..love them so I thought I'd try these for the road. Too spongey for my body. My hips hurt after my runs. I've not had that problem before. Thank goodness for Fleet Feet's return policy. I'm a heavier runner so maybe that's why? Switching back to my Brooks Glycerin.

I started wearing hoka bondi 7 about 2 years ago and then I tried the Clifton 8 and they weren’t as comfortable as the bondi and I was stuck in those as I had really bad PF in both feet! After a year of therapy and walking again I thought I could branch out to other shoes I tried new balance and brooks and they are not the same! My feet started to get the same pains and did not want yo go down that road again. I decided was time for more hoka and glad I did! I’m not a fan of the new bondi 8 the are way to wide for me but honestly for me the Clifton 9 is way more comfortable than the bondi for me this time so it was a winner!

Was having extreme pain in front of left heel plantar fachitis…aLao experienced in past. I purchased another brand of orthotic shoe in June for comfort walking with chronic foot pain. Plants F reoccurred after trying to get back into a walking pattern. My mother had a friend who mentioned Fleet Feet and the Hoka brand shoes said she had no problems since wearing.80 yr old parents took me 59 yr old - while in town to have my foot fitted… I normally wear a wide shoe 9-10. The machine put me in a 9.5 wide. The HoKa had a wider toe area than the Brooks or New Balance shoe I ended up with a 9w in the HOKA Clifton… no comparison as to which shoe felt best. 2nd day in its Like walking on supported cloud and the active pain is minimal while the shoe is on. Praying this shoe is my answer and my pain will soon be gone… the thought of being on my feet isn’t near the issue with these on my feet.

I own a few pairs of Clifton 7s and now recently bought a new pair of the Clifton 9 model from Fleet Feet West Reading and they are probably the most comfortable running shoes I've ever worn. Had some issues a long time ago with the Bondi model but when I tried the Clifton model years ago I was hooked. I love these shoes and the Clifton 9 is just as awesome as my old and worn Clifton 7s!

These shoes are great for my 12 hour shifts and are so comfortable and don't get dirty easily.

I have psoriatic arthritis that affects the joints in my feet and have a lot of foot pain. The Clinton 9s are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and allow me to exercise more! I ordered my regular size and after wearing them a of couple times realized they were too big. Fleet Feet took them back no questions asked which was amazing! I then ordered a 1/2 size smaller and they fit perfectly! I will be purchasing HOKAs again from you!

I enjoy the shoes but they look a lot more grey/silver in the picture and are essentially white in actuality. I really didn’t want white shoes but live & learn!
