Children’s Tumor FoundationNF - a genetic condition that includes all forms of neurofibromatosis and schwannomatosis - affects 1 in every 2,000 births or about 4 million people worldwide. Anyone can be born with it and it affects everyone differently. NF can lead to blindness, deafness, bone abnormalities, disfigurement, learning challenges, disabling pain, or cancer. Ignite The Spirit FundIgnite the Spirit is an ongoing charity that was created to raise funds for Chicago’s firefighters and paramedics and their families in time of need. In June 2003, Ignite the Spirit was established in response to the World Trade Center bombings and the many lives that were lost including countless firefighters on September 11, 2001. Since 2003, Ignite the Spirit has helped over 500 families in need and we are still going strong.
