Fleet Feet Dallas is here to help you stay motivated, keep active and reach new goals. Let us help you reach the finish line of your next half or full marathon! Enjoy the company of other runners and walkers, great coaches and mentors and clinics. This program has group runs based in the North Dallas suburbs and should be accessible for most Dallas area runners.
As an option for runners, we will have an additional 4 weeks of base building to help support growth to the long runs on the first few weekends of the program - 3-5 miles for the half program and 5-8 miles for the full program. This will be virtual in advance of the main program start, and will commence on July 20th.
Our dedicated team will be there with you every step of the way, regardless of your pace. Whether you are a first-timer, a full or half-marathoner, or just looking for some group camaraderie we have a program that is:

Join our coaches and mentors on weekly runs as part of your overall plan - we will base final location decisions on central location of participants (likely Plano area):

Tuesdays - Windhaven Meadows Park - track/interval workout

Thursdays - Windhaven Hill - hill workout weeks & Summer Moon Coffee (121/Legacy) - other weeks

Saturdays at 5:30 am - Windhaven Meadows Park - long run
Our Fall 2024 Distance Training Program will include training timed for the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival, and we are more than happy to help you target any endurance event you would like that takes place in the winter season.

Half and Full marathon plans are available for all levels but will be structured to support the group’s progression
As a participant you will get:

Weekly newsletter with location and workout information and training plan for your target race - half marathon or full marathon

Safe and organized weekly group long runs with pre-planned routes, turn-by-turn directions, and pace groups

Weekday workouts including hill repeats, track workouts, and fartleks, all scaled to your particular goal distance

Workouts will have water available, with an addition of electrolytes for all runs above 65F

Training program technical shirt is included in the cost of the program!

Clinics to go through training principles and topics, chat with some of our partners, and provide more community!

All levels of runners and run/walkers are welcome, though it is strongly recommended that registered athletes feel comfortable running or run/walking at least 3 miles when signing up for the half and at least 8 miles when signing up for the full before beginning this program.
