Training is easier (and more fun) with friends! With Fleet Feet’s Half Marathon Training Program, Powered by On, you’ll find a holistic training plan to help you cross the finish line feeling empowered. Half Marathon training isn’t just about logging miles. It’s about learning to challenge yourself incrementally, tackling different types of runs, building strength and making space for rest and recovery. With our training plan, you and your fellow runners will bond as you train, learn and improve together, with plenty of support along the way.
This group is ideal for runners looking to complete their first half marathon, haven't ran a half marathon lately, want to improve their time, or want a group-setting to stay accountable during their training. We recommend being able to run 3 miles at 13:30 mile pace or faster before participating in this training program.
The 12 week program begins Tuesday, January 28, in preparation for the Drake Road Races Half Marathon on April 19. You will receive coached sessions two times a week (23 total sessions)-- Tuesdays at 6:00 PM and Saturdays at 7:45 AM. Additionally, registration includes weekly coaching emails, friendly pace-setters to keep you on track and provide encouragement, support and experience, and a race-day shirt. You bring the ambition, and we will bring the coaches, training, and support. You can do this.
