This class is tailored to runners, walkers, and all other feet-movers to recover from weekend miles!
The class is designed to relieve tightness, increase flexibility, and promote overall recovery. We will stretch, build strength, and breathe to music. Expect gentle stretches targeting the legs, hips, lower back, and shoulders to release tension accumulated during longer runs. A variety of seated, standing and reclined poses will be offered. Deep, rhythmic breathing will be incorporated throughout the practice to restore your body and also mind.
Overall, this class is an opportunity to unwind, restore balance to your body, and support optimal recovery after an energetic weekend of running together with friends!
Coach Amanda, CYT
Amanda discovered yoga in 2015 to complement her running. She enjoyed it so much she began teaching power vinyasa style yoga in 2022. Her style of teaching reflects her personality: lighthearted and adventurous. All her classes are set to music; expect a playlist of songs that enhance the emotional quality of class. Yoga has been a source of personal development in a fun, community atmosphere and she is eager to share this with Fleet Feet! You will leave her yoga classes feeling accomplished and reset.
