
The Trail Running Film Festival is back on tour and coming to Unscrewed Theater in midtown Tucson for a great night of films, inspiration, and community. Presented by Fleet Feet Tucson & Brooks.
We're excited to bring you stories from around the world by filmmakers sharing their work of adventure, inclusivity, wilderness, art, and diversity across the trail and ultra community.

The Trail Running Film Festival is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to celebrate running as a universal practice to explore our collective and individual potential and pursue our wildest dreams. They accomplish this by documenting the culture of trail running, supporting filmmakers and creatives, and hosting events that bring our community together.
This year, six films inspire stories of endurance, resilience, and personal growth.
- Elite Heart follows Callie Vinson, a body-positive woman aiming to complete a 100-mile race, promoting diversity and inclusivity in trail running (13 min).
- The Pointe Pessey showcases Iris, a determined woman from France, as she attempts a record climb, reflecting on freedom and her love for the mountains (18 min).
- Our Terrain explores the community of ultra-runners in Missouri, where a tornado tests their limits during a 100-mile race (30 min).
- Talk to Frank tells the heartwarming story of Frank the cocker spaniel and his owner Maleek, who heal together through running in the mountains (5 min).
- We Are Here. We Run Long. highlights a camp for BIPOC trail runners, emphasizing diversity and inclusion in the sport (8 min).
- Halfway to Crazy follows ultra-runner Candice Burt’s journey attempting to set a record on the Arizona Trail, exploring the physical and mental challenges of pushing her limits (33 min).
