ASICS updated the GT-2000 9 with a fresh, clean look but kept the stability features that runners rely on. The ASICS Dynamic DuoMax system creates a stable platform over the life of the shoe, and the Trusstic system mitigates twisting for a more consistent transition.

Asics GT-2000 Extra Wide - Not really wide and are very tight
I need an extra wide shoe and I have been buying Asics for years. Usually a 4E fits me real good; however with the GT2000 the heal is almost too tight for me to slide them on. The shoe is decently wide in the front; but the overall comfort is just not there. Maybe they will stretch out but only time will tell. This is a moderately expensive shoe and should fit better if advertised as a wide 4E. I scored the shoe a 2 because it does look good.

Great shoes
I overpronate and am prone to plantar fasciitis. The Asics GT 2000 has been my go to shoe for several years. Since I’ve been wearing these almost exclusively no foot problems. They fit well have excellent support and are well cushioned. I get good wear out of them.
