Bought this shoe in April. I suffer from foot pain when doing exercises requiring jumping/lunges/etc. and this definitely helped improve the pain a little. However it gets 3 stars from me as I bought these in April and using them only indoors for an hour workout class 3-4x weekly the bottom has broken after almost exactly 6 months. I feel it should last at least a year? Hoping mine was just a malfunction. Not sure if I should risk it reordering this brand again or not.

I have tried several different models of ASICS and so far this is my favorite. I have very flat feet and plantar fasciitis so i did add an insole from fleetfeet. I am on my feet all day at work and usually rotate the shoes i wear but these feel so good i have been wearing them almost every day and my legs haven’t been as tired at the end of my shift.

I mainly use for morning walks but do some short jogging intervals. I’ve always needed supportive sneakers because of my pronation. After surgery on my right ankle I wasn’t comfortable in any shoes. These gel kayanos provide a cushion that hugs my ankle just right. I also don’t have any pain with heel contact in that right foot like I do in casual shoes. This is now my 5th pair! I love them so much that I rotate through a pair to walk a pair to wear at work on my feet all day (teacher). I get compliments regularly on how cute they look. Cannot recommend them enough.

Shoes arrived very promptly even though they were ordered days before the holiday. Customer service impeccable. Could not be more pleased. Am planning on getting a 2nd pair shortly. Fantastic sneaker buying experience.

I love Asics and really like these Gel-Kayano 28....stability and comfort as well as very well designed.

This is my second pair of these and I won’t wear anything else. I had tried to order them through Amazon and my package was lost. Ordering thru fleet feet instead was much better. It was prompt and exactly wat I wanted. I’ll definitely order thru the app again.

Best shoes for the treadmill I have found! I’m on my second pair and plan to buy reserves! Hope they keep this style the same! It’s perfect for me!

After an in-store analysis this became my go-to running shoe. I love the comfort and durability.

I have worn the Kayano 25 and 26. The 28’s are even more comfortable and supportive (I even bought a second pair). I tried the gel Cumulus and ended up returning. Honestly this is the only sneaker that works for me. I use it for walking jogging and daily life.

Kept foot stable but on wet or painted areas was very slippery—for the price I expected better traction

After leaving ASICS for a while and trying other brands I ended up going back and buying the Gel-Kayano 28 after reading so many amazing reviews. I wasn't disappointed! These shoes are so comfortable and have great stability. Other brands have such wide toe boxes and don't fit my narrow feet that snuggly. These shoes fit perfectly and provide such a cushioned run....no special inserts required like I would buy for other brands. I am definitely buying more pairs going forward. I just wish they would make better color combos for women.

I have worn this shoe for the last 8 years. Every year Asics makes minor tweaks. This year was the best tweak to date. I wore these shoes straight out of the box while touring Washington DC we walked 75k steps in 2.5 days. My feet never hurt or got tired the entire time.

I have just started jogging and wanted to get a more serious pair of running shoes. I was given a complete assessment of my foot shape and gait provided with a number of options to choose from. Personnel were very communicative informative personable professional.

K-28's are like running on clouds but also give you the support you need. Very comfortable and I like how they hug my small heels. I had foot surgery over 20 years ago and on after most runs my feet are sore but not now.

I am liking the changes that have been made from the 27's to 28's. It took a little longer to break the ASICS in but now I love them. And the color is great. I got the pink but really its more of a coral color.
