New Balance is a great shoe for those with wider feet. 1080 is a great shoe with ample cushion for a marathon runner. For those with arch issues this shoe is roomy enough to place inserts and does not rub blisters. Highly recommend!

They were very comfortable but I had to return them because my left heel was slipping. I love New Balance Fresh Foam X 1080's. This is my favorite shoe. Sad that the v12 didn't work for me.

I love these shoes for easy running days. Feels like running on a cloud - so light and soft/supportive but also responsive.

took my feet awhile to get used to them but now I think they are great. I would not run a marathon in these but they are good for long runs and everyday training.

The 1080 is my go to favorite. This is my 4th pair but first for version 12. I’m a neutral runner and currently running about 30 miles per week training for a marathon. Cushioned and comfortable. Will continue to buy the 1080 in the future.

These shoes are so great for running and walking. I stand on my feet all day and my feet have never felt better.

The only reason i gave it 3 stars is they were to small. I read a lot of reviews that said that they were running larger than normal so I ordered a 1/2 smaller. I had went to a lical store that sold the same shoe and tried on the size I needed and it fit. So I ordered the 9 1/2. Doesn't make sense. I will be sending them back. I love New Balance but I cant wear a shoe thats to short.

I recently purchased these NB 1080v12 shoes and really like the comfort and cushioning. I am on my feet all day for work and these work great. As suggested I did order the shoes one size smaller than my regular size and that worked out great.

Very comfortable -I have bad feet including several foot surgeries- these work very well for me

So comfortable. I use them primarily for walking and they are great travel companions. I have run in them but would not recommend for more than 5k. They run true to size have generous width at the toe without feeling loose. The tie holes are in all the right places to create a snug fit that doesn’t cut into top of foot. Heel is angled to create snug fit which eliminates slipping. My daughter loves these & recommended to me. This is my second pair & they did not disappoint!

Not as comfortable as they said. I stand all day on concrete. I recently had plantar fasciitis release and I was hoping these would help with support.

Even better than my Hoka Cliftons for daily runs. Great cushion yet light. As an older runner these really feel great for high road pavement mileage.

They're just okay. In my opinion this is not a max cushion shoe. It's more of a medium cushioned responsive shoe. If that's what you want you'll like it. If you want max cushion opt for another brand.

I bought this shoe a year ago and fell in love. I returned to the store to purchase another pair of the same shoe this year and they’re totally different. The shoe is not as cushy the toebox isn’t as wide and they feel tough and stiff like Brooks shoes. They feel cheap. The only thing I can come up with is the original shoes I bought were made in Indonesia and this year they’re made in Vietnam. I’m so sad the pair I first purchased was amazing.

The shoes I bought are working out very well. No complaints.

This is my second pair of the Fresh Foam 1080 V12’s and I absolutely love them!!! I’ve ran 2 half marathons several 10K’s and some 5’s in them and they’re great for all distances. They would also be great for every day wear because of the great great cushioning and comfort. I also love all the cute colors they come in. I have two colors already and can’t wait to get more as I like to rotate my shoes between runs and I love to match my outfits. I’ve been wearing fresh foam 1080 v’s for years starting with I think the 8’s or 9’s and between my daughter and I we have eight pair of the v 10’s. The v 10’s are the shoe that got my daughter into running. She had tried running but her feet always hurt in other shoes she wore so I talked her into trying the New Balance fresh foam V 10’s and she did and she fell in love with running. I didn’t buy any of the v’11’s because we didn’t like how they felt in the heel etc when we tried them on in the store at Fleet Feet our favorite shoe store. I was so happy when the v 12’s came out and they felt familiar and like the shoe I’ve been in love with for years. This is a great shoe - great work New Balance!!!

I have bought pair after pair of the1080. They are the best athletic shoe I have ever owned. My only complaint is that the fresh foam breaks down after 6 months and then I have to buy another pair. Never the less I love them. Wish new insoles were available.

I have wore the previous models but this one for me is the best running shoes . That extra cushion on the heel feels amazing!

My Duke Dr. suggested HOKA or New Balance for my arthritis in my feet and ankles. .Previously I had worn NB but not the top model. I knew I needed to go to Fleet Feet for higher end versions of shoes. I bought New Balance Fresh Foam 1080 v12. They fit as if they were crafted for my feet! The employee was patient and helpful. I have already ordered two more pair and will soon order another.

Super comfortable shoes the cush is for real the stretch in the upper is fantastic. These are my go to shoes for work as an RN!

If you stopped buying the New Balance 1080 because of the redesign and the weird heel cup well the old design is back! Great cushioning light weight and nice fit. They have adjusted the sizing so you don't have to size up anymore to keep your toenails on! Nice job New Balance.

I have tried every shoe on the market Thanks to Fleet Feet and the help they gave me and knowing what I wanted and needed and New Balanc I found the show I needed I'm on my feet 10 hrs per day and nothing hurts no aches no soar feet nothing! Best shoe ever!!!! Thank- you Fleet Feet for helping me find NewBalance seriously my 3rd pair highly recommend them for everyone!

After years of being faithful to the 1080v10’s and owning them in almost every color it was time to invest in new shoes since they were all worn down. I typically do about 25 miles per week mostly walking with some running. I have narrow toes and a wide heel and lots of trouble with plantar fasciitis. I was not a fan of the 1080v11 for some reason. They just seemed wide and didn’t hug my foot like my former favorites. I finally tried on the 1080v12 in May and purchased them immediately. If possible they are even better that my beloved 1080v10’s and the bright orange turns out to match with more of my workout gear than I thought! (The orange also makes me appear more tan somehow.) I have since bought a second pair in this color and another in white. Can’t think of anything I don’t like about them. They are soft without being bulky supportive without any pressure points and have never rubbed any blisters on my feet. 10/10 highly recommend. They do run about 1/2 size larger than the v10 model in my opinion so remember that if purchasing online.

I usually run in 880s. They seemed a little heavy for me this time. And the laces were too short! The 1080s are a little more cushy which is nice for my PF. I ran 12 in them for the first time and had no issues. Now over 100 mi in and they are still doing a good job!

Great pair of work shoes! The sole is thick and helps my feet with support! My feet are not achy. Black goes with the everything! Awesome pair and so worth the money.

These 1080's are so comfortable. I use these for my daily walking and occasional hikes. I have sciatica and in the past the best seemed to be the Brooks Glycerin's but these have exceeded the comfort of those.

I absolutely love these shoes they are not only comfortable but fashionable. I work long hour days and am on my feet and these shoes help to support and give me comfort all day.

Love the shoe. Super lightweight good cushion that is supportive and doesn’t feel like you smoosh to the ground. Definitely go down a half size at least. I wore mine a few too many times before realizing I should have gone down a half size but ordering was easy shipping was fast and will buy direct again

I have been dealing with Achilles Tendinitis for several months and the fitting and the time given to me to buy these shoes was SO helpful. I love my cushy New Balance shoes. They fit and feel great. I bought a second pair a week later so I would be sure to have an extra pair if needed down the road or they stopped making them. Thank you Fleet feet staff for your wonderful help!
