Fleet Feet Des Moines offers many programs to help you reach your goals, while connecting you to a community of peopled connected by the spirit and passion of running. No matter how fast or how far you go, we a program to run with you.

Social Runs

Social Runs are a great starting point to get connected at Fleet Feet Des Moines. Thursday Social Runs are at 6:00 PM and leave from the store. There is always a 3 and a 5 mile route provided that will end back at the store, but feel free to go whatever distance suits you. On the third Thursday of every month, we have a demo run where a new shoe brand each month brings shoes for you to try out on the run for free! After social runs, you can head over to SingleSpeed Brewing Co. to rehydrate and get your first beer free!

Making the Miles

Making the Miles is a year-long program where you receive merchandise prizes from the store as you hit milemarkers throughout the year. There is a private Garmin group, where your logged miles will be tracked with a leaderboard to challenge yourself! If you don't have a Garmin, miles from other smartwatches can be logged manually. Hit 1000 miles in a year, and you will receive an exclusive (and massive) Fleet Feet Des Moines belt buckle! 

Training Groups

Fleet Feet Des Moines offers training groups for the 5k, 10k, and half marathon distances. All ages, abilities, and experience levels are welcome to participate in our training groups. Coaches help guide you and provide structure along 10 - 12 week programs leading up to a goal race. Meet others working towards similar goals as you along the way!

Racing Team

If you are planning to do multiple local races throughout the year, the Racing Team is a great place to get plugged in. Receive Fleet Feet Racing Team apparel, discounts on shoes and clothing, and reduced registration fees for over 30 local races! 

Store Events

We host various fun runs and events throughout the year that are sure to be a good time. Think eating pie, wearing Santa suits, relay teams, and lots of smiles! Check out our events calendar to see what is coming up.
